Is my smartphone compatible with SCRIBZEE®?
Check that your smartphone is fitted with one of the following software versions: iOS 9.1 or Android 6.0.
Your smartphone must also be equipped with a camera with autofocus and a flash.
If your smartphone does not meet the necessary requirements, a message indicating that it is not compatible with SCRIBZEE® will be displayed on App Store or Google Play Store.
We strive to be compatible with as many smartphone models as we can. The number of phones marketed is so high nowadays that it is difficult to be compatible with all the smartphones and versions of the operating systems.
Does SCRIBZEE® work with Windows Phone?
For the time being SCRIBZEE® only works with iOS and Android, not with Windows Phone. We have chosen to develop SCRIBZEE® for the two major software platforms, namely iOS and Android. Given the state of the market and the sales of smartphones running Windows, which are in decline in our main markets, the investment would be disproportionate to the number of potential users.
However, we remain attentive to the developments in the market and, if the situation were to change, we would reconsider our decision.
How many languages is SCRIBZEE® available in?
SCRIBZEE® is currently available in 11 languages (English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian).
Can I choose the language in SCRIBZEE®?
SCRIBZEE® will automatically detect the language of your smartphone and install a version of SCRIBZEE® in the same language.
If the language installed on your smartphone is not among the 11 languages currently available, the English version will be installed by default.
Is SCRIBZEE® available everywhere in the world?
Yes, SCRIBZEE® is now available throughout the world.

Open SCRIBZEE® and tap on the spanner icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Scroll down until you get to the “GEO-LOCATION” field. Enable the feature by positioning the button to the right.
What is the geolocation of my notes for?
When you enable geolocation, SCRIBZEE® will associate additional data with your notes when you scan them, ie where you scanned them. This data can be used as search criteria in SCRIBZEE® Online so that you can find your notes more easily.
Can I file a note in several SCRIBZEE® folders?
When you file a note from PENDING to one of your NOTES folders, it can only be filed in a single folder. The notes which have been filed disappear from PENDING.
I’ve bought an OXFORD notebook/diary compatible with SCRIBZEE®. When I try to scan my page the words “markers not detected” appear on the screen.
The page you want to scan should be placed absolutely flat, with the four markers clearly visible, and not curved. The lighting conditions should be sufficiently bright.
Hold your smartphone over the page and align the 4 markers on the page with the 4 target areas on the screen. When SCRIBZEE® detects the 4 markers, it will automatically trigger the scan.
If you have moved it or if you have not positioned the four markers within the target areas, SCRIBZEE® will automatically take another shot so that you don’t have to press a button to take the photo.
Is it possible to export my notes from SCRIBZEE® to Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.?

What are the four markers on the pages of the Oxford products I’ve just bought for?
OXFORD is revolutionising the world of paper by providing a new feature to enable you to make unlimited use of your handwritten notes, thanks to the power of digital. The 4 markers printed on the page are detected by our SCRIBZEE® application, which automatically creates a perfect digital copy of your notes. It is then saved to the cloud and, therefore, accessible from a SCRIBZEE®-compatible smartphone. Your notes can be shared by email and on social media or exported as multi-page PDFs. To find out more, view the two videos on the Oxford website, explaining the advantages of SCRIBZEE®: https://www.my-oxford.com/int-en/SCRIBZEE
